I finally got a chance to check out the oh so popular movie Avatar. I can see why everyone was so excited to see it because it was soooo good! I didn't even watch it in 3D or IMAX but the graphics were still crazy! Even tho it is a bit long, (James Cameron doesn't know how to write a movie under 2 hrs, lol) the story was still good & the little love story was too adorable! I'm sure you've all heard/read/seen that Cincinatti Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry passed away early this morning after a domestic dispute with his fiance Loleini. I can't believe we're dealing with another incident involving domestic violence where the man is suffering. I know a lot of you don't want to hear it or might even get mad at what I'm saying but it's the truth. We've got to learn to have self control & stop letting all the bullshit get to us. If your man is cheating or whatever the situation is & your not okay with it, LEAVE. Why argue? Why fight it? IT'S HAPPENING/HAPPENED. These women are making us look crazy! Crazy for money. Crazy for attention. CRAZY PERIOD. This fuckery has got to stop. & you men out there with money, learn from this incident along with Tiger's & Steve McNair's because there are plenty of crazy, money hungry broads out there & they're ready for you, your money & the cost of it ALL.

Chris & Loleini were still planning their wedding & have 3 children together. Chris was 26. I'm unsure what's happening with Loleini but I'm sure we'll be finding out in future news reports.

I know ya'll are thinkin, what the hell is Zeitgeist? That's exactly what I was thinking when my friend asked me if I've ever seen the movie. After pulling it up on YouTube, I was instantly hooked. The information shown in these videos will have you on a higher trip than any drug will. The stories & scenarios they give make it hard to believe this isn't true. I don't want to say much, just push play & I'm sure you'll be glued to your screen. Everyone is anticipating XXL's 2010: The 10 Freshmen cover so I decided to put my own together. Here are the artist who were on last year's cover (in no particular order):

In my opinion, the only artist above that I feel that have gone on to the next level are Wale & KiD CuDi. Asher Roth, BoB, Blu have all had a nice hype, but I think it's already died down. Ace Hood & Charles Hamilton have both been humiliated in this industry in different cases. Cory Gunz & Mickey Factz are having a slow start & Curren$y seems like he's starting a little slow too, which in my opinion is bull 'cause Weezy shoulda been put him on. SMH.

Anyway here goes my list...IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER!

J. Cole: Well DUH. He's the first artist to sign to Hov's Roc Nation label & he is lyrically one of the
best in the game! Both mixtapes (The Come Up & The Warm Up) have gotten a lot of love & his feature on Jay-Z's BP3's "A Star Is Born" didn't hurt him either.

Nipsey Hussle: The new kid on the block that keeps it crackin in the hood & in your ipod/cd players. He's been compared to the legendary Snoop & is proving he can live up to that title! Nipsey's here to make sure all of you know what it is on the West Coast, THE BEST COAST! ;)

Nicki Minaj: I've NEVER been a fan of female rappers. I have nothing against them & do listen to their music, but I've never been like "Damn, she's filthy!" until Ms. Minaj came out. She's just so dope & so unique! She's turned her music into a culture with all the "Harijuku Barbie" stuff & her lingo as well. What other female rapper you know do that?!

Drake: He's like the "Smart Guy" of the game! He done skipped every grade & graduated & is now livin the damn life. He's worked with Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Mary J. Blidge, & so many more. He's even been nominated for a Grammy & hasn't even dropped an album yet! WELL DAYUM!

Big Sean: Signed to Yeezie's G.O.O.D. MUSIC & Island Def Jam, Big Sean has had lots of success with his UKnowBigSean mixtape...I'm sure he's been doing a lot of shows here & there, but I'm waiting for him to start shinin a little more!! We need an album or another mixtape pronto!

LOS: It still kills me how many people aren't up on this guy! He comes off so hard everytime! He was once signed to Bad Boy but it seems like things weren't working out? Hmmm..Anyway I'm sure 2010 will be a HUGE year for LOS.

Wiz Khalifa: Everyone is on this kid! He has the Internet goin nuts with Twitter, digital mixtapes & his UStreams. Before dropping his album Deal or No Deal he dropped the Burn After Rolling mixtape which both have been receiving great feedback.

Chip Tha Ripper: I'm not even gonna lie, I didn't know nor care about this guy until I downloaded his mixtape this weekend. He's a new problem! I don't have much to say but just DL The Cleveland Show (below) & see why it only took me only a weekend to see why Chip is so dope.

Tyga: There was so much confusion at first when Tyga came out. Was he signed to YoungMoney? Was he not? Well we know now that Tyga is officially apart of the super squad they call Young Money. I'm not really a fan of his commercial ish (like that "lime in the coconut" crap) but in his mixtape & unreleased musc he comes of in ways that should be illegal!

Pac Div: I'm not even sure if groups can be on the list, but if they can, these guys really deserve it. The really killed it this year with thier Church League Champions mixtape & even got recognition & love from Diddy on this project!

Again, this is only MY opinion. I'm sure 2010 will be a very big year for the artist above & I can't wait to see who actually makes the list!

Amanda Knox Sentenced To 26 Years

The story of Amanda Knox is really heartbreaking. There are two very tragic sides to this story. One side is of Meridith Kercher who was murdered in her own home during what they believe a "group sex" game which also involved drugs. The second side is of Amanda Knox, who was convicted of Meridith's murder, who happened to be her roommate. (Read entire story here)

The trial had been going on for over 2 years in Perugia, Italy, where the two girls went to school. Last week they finally reached a verdict and found Amanda guilty & sentenced her 26 years which is pretty damn light next to the life sentence they were going for.

Amanda's family has been by her side this entire time & has even spent almost, if not more than 1 million dollars on things such as lawyers, travel, food, etc...They plan on appealing the sentence and are asking for donations to help with some of their expenses because it could take over year for the appeal to start. Amanda's Grandmother or "Opa", who was expecting her grand-daughter to come home this weekend, is heartbroken & says she will continue to write her every single Saturday until she comes home.

The family of Meridith had kept quiet until the sentencing & are pleased with the sentence, but do not feel like this a victory and even stated "this is nothing to celebrate".

I am confused with this situation. I read the stories over & over. I watch the news over & over & still can not believe anyone. When I see this girl on TV it's hard to believe that she would do such a thing, or even be involved in such a terrible crime, but then it makes me wonder: who did it then? Where is Merdith's "boyfriend" & why did he not get a trial too? Maybe one day we'll find out...I'm sure this will be a Box Office hit as well. SMH.

Tiger Woods was involved with a "car crash" this weekend, but that's not what the world thinks. Rumors are buzzing around saying that Tiger's wife Elin went nutzo on him after rumors on the Internet were leaked saying Tiger was having an affair. To try & cover the situation, they're saying Tiger acted like he got into a car accident so that his bruises and scratches would have explanation.

I'm unsure what to believe. If she went crazy on him, good for her. It's very embarrassing when you have to question these rumors & that you can't trust your partner. If these rumors are false, it's just very odd that he's pulling out of all these appearances & also not opening up about the situation. I'm sure that we'll be hearing the truth soon tho.

Another rumor goin around is that during Trey Songz's bday celebration at a club this weekend, him & R&B singer Joe got it in at the club! It was said that Joe arrived at the club first, got in the VIP area & when Trey finally arrived, Trey took over HIS section that he reserved & Joe wasn't too happy about it. There has not been a confirmation on this, but it'll be interesting to know what really went down!

4 Officers Murdered In Parkland, Wa.

This past Sunday 4 Police Officers were murdered in a coffee shop in Parkland, Wa (near Tacoma). One female & 3 males. They believe Maurice Clemmons is responsible for this and everywhere looking for this man.

In the month of November, 5 Police Officers were murdered in this state. Yes, 5. 5 individuals who put their life on the line to protect you, your family, friends, co-workers & even your enemies. It's absolutely ridiculous that such a thing like this could happen. I understand that a lot of us aren't great friends with the police, but they are just doing their job. It sucks because young boys grow up wanting to be policemen. Wanting to help & protect people. How will they be able to protect us now when they can't even protect themselves? I hope they get this man off the streets because who knows who his next victim will be. It may not be an officer next time, it could get worse. Let's not let it happen, period.

Filipino-American Efren Penaflorida was the recipient of CNN's Hero Of The Year this year.

Efren Peñaflorida, who started a "pushcart classroom" in the Philippines to bring education to poor children as an alternative to gang membership, has been named the 2009 CNN Hero of the Year.

This means so much to me & my family. We don't have many people of our background who get recognized for the good they do in this country & this world. It feels good to see that with all the negative & wrong doing going on currently, that people aren't giving up on making this world a better place. It touches my heart even more at the fact that he is working with the youth. It seems at times we can neglect them and Efren is an amazing human being for giving back and helping create a better environment for them. Even though there were other great hero's on the roster last night, I must agree, Efren definitely deserved the honor of being CNN's 2009 Hero Of The Year. :*)

The sad story of the five year old girl in North Carolina who was kidnapped, raped & murdered has suddenly turn into something a little less ugly. After watching the story on the news, NBA star Shaquille O’Neal was so touched that he funded the funeral this past Sunday which had about 2,000 attendees. I see you Shaq. This is a perfect example of a good celeb. *MESSAGE!*

Happy Thanksgiving friends! Even tho it is a day that is mainly focused on stuffing our faces, it is also a day to give many thanks! Here are 10 things that I am thankful for in 2009!

1. My Mom & Brother. She is the hardest working woman I know, and stays so fly. EVERYTHING I am is because of that woman! & I couldn't ask for a better little brother. He makes me so proud every time I see his over-achieving ass.

2. Being healthy. Besides a common cold, I've never had to deal with any big health issues this year.

3. YOUR support! Everyone who takes their time to read my tweets, read my blog & my facebook status. Everyone who keeps my name circulating & who is trying to get me to where I want to be!

4. OMGonlineradio.com, Ms. Ego ENT, Johnni Boy, Ms. Green Eye Events, On Point Promotions, TeddyTee & The Dred Hed Clik, Fusion & Soul Gorilla for all fckin with me in the party game! There's so much more kickin it to be done! Watch out 2010!

5. The DOE, Kuddie Fresh, The DIMERZ, DJ Charma, Royce the Choice, SK Tha King, PetaTosh & everyone else who has said something meaningful & encouraging! You don't understand how much those words mean to me!

6. My FRIENDS. The REAL ones, who are always there no matter what. To hear me rant on & on about the things that go on in my life whether it be about a boy, my family or my career.
